Arbor Health welcomes Emma Dames, PA, to the medical staff. She joined the Arbor Health–Randle Clinic staff earlier this year, teaming up with Travis Podbilski, DO, in family medicine. Most recently, Dames worked in the Tacoma area after completing her physician associate education in Ohio and undergraduate degree in Kentucky.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science in 2014. This led her to pursue a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology two years later and then finally her Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies in 2021.

In addition to family medicine, her medical practice focuses on LGBTQ+ health, gender-affirming medicine, adolescent medicine, internal medicine, emergency and urgent care, and medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorder.

In her free time, Dames loves hiking with her dog, traveling, scuba diving, coloring and watching true-crime documentaries.
