Working to Meet Your Needs—In a Rapid Sort of Way

by Leianne Everett, CEO

In just a couple of months, we will see the second anniversary of the adoption of Arbor Health’s mission and vision. The concept of having a mission and vision is commonplace in the business world. But for Arbor Health, they are truly instrumental in how we do business, how we see ourselves and how we strive to serve you.

Our mission is our purpose: to foster trust and nurture a healthy community.

Our vision is our goal: to provide accessible, quality health care.

One way we are living up to our mission and vision is the introduction of a Rapid Care Clinic in the Morton Clinic building early next year. You are likely more familiar with the term urgent care. Our model will look a lot like an urgent care clinic but will differ in a few ways. For instance, urgent care clinics are required to have on-site diagnostic imaging—and while ours is mere steps away, it’s located in the hospital next door. So close —but there is not a shared roof. So we chose the name Arbor Health Rapid Care Clinic.

No matter what the name, this after-hours clinic sits firmly in our vision of providing accessible, quality health care. Not only is it making health care available during the weekend and the evening hours on Fridays and Mondays, the cost for you to receive care will be dramatically less than emergency room charges. Being affordable plays a part in being accessible.

The Rapid Care Clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Monday. Watch for announcements on the opening date in area newspapers, on social media and on our website at MyArborHealth.org. We look forward to serving you.
