Arbor Health's Wellness Week is intended to meet you where you are—and encourage, entice and empower you to move even higher on your road to wellness.
We encourage you to take advantage of the offerings, whether it be just one activity or the whole schedule!
Get Moving Monday

Arbor Talks at the Roxy
Tuesday, Aug. 22, 6 p.m.

- "Making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice via Blue Zones." Learn all about Blue Zones, a communitywide approach to well-being to help people live longer—and better—lives.
- "Better Taste and More Nutritious." Learn why growing your own vegetables or buying from farmers markets can be life-changing.
- "The Tortoise Won the Race!" We are not doomed to lose our strength and ability to be active as we age—see how!
- "Don't Go Out There, Unless You're Prepared." What steps should you take to ensure your safety during a hike? What should you carry with you? Find out!
- "Going from Weepingly Weary to WOW!" A local woman will tell how she nearly threw her life away and what she's done to turn it all around. (See related article Changing Course)
Affordable Whole-Foods Cooking Class
Wednesday, Aug. 23, 6 p.m.
Seventh-day Adventist Church, 500 Kosmos Lane, Morton
This demonstration will show how easy—and tasty—whole foods can be. Entry is $5 per person to cover cost of food samples. Register at the Wellness Week website.
Family Fun Kickball
Thursday, Aug. 24, 6 p.m.
Join our doctors and clinic staff for an evening of active fun, held on the Mossyrock and Randle elementary school playgrounds.
Healthy Fun Friday Photo Contest
Friday, Aug. 25
Invest some time in your health and wellness and send us a photo of you doing it. See contest criteria on the Wellness Week website.
Health Expo
Saturday, Aug. 26, 9 to 11 a.m.
Morton Hospital parking lot
Exhibitors will offer a variety of health and wellness products and resources.
Joy in the Journey 5K Color Run/Walk
Saturday, Aug. 26, 9 a.m.
You can walk or you can run. And you can get colorized or come out looking just as you started. It's all your choice. Basic entry is $8 per person ($10 day of the race)—and kids are free when registered with an adult! Register and see the race levels on the website.
