Dear Neighbors,

We are working hard at Arbor Health to live up to our vision of providing you with increased access to quality medical care. One example is the Rapid Care Clinic we opened earlier this year. Located within the Morton Clinic building, it is open for walk-in patients Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. This service is the ideal solution when the situation isn't serious enough for an emergency room visit but you can't wait for an appointment with your primary care provider.
We are so happy to welcome Crystal Florek, ARNP, to our medical staff. She fills two roles at the Morton Clinic site. In addition to joining Kevin McCurry, MD, in the Rapid Care Clinic, she also works in women's health. If you do not have a provider for women's health, I highly recommend Crystal. She is available for appointment by calling 360-496-3641 and is proving to be an amazing asset to our community.

The biggest news today is the soon-to-open Arbor Health–Packwood Clinic. Area residents will once again have a full-time medical facility in picturesque Packwood. Jason Whitney, ARNP, will be the full-time primary care provider. Community members will find him to be enthusiastic and positive in all of his interactions. He loves helping and engaging people and focuses on helping his patients optimize their personal health. His clinical strengths include pediatrics, family health and urgent care procedures. We are beyond pleased to have him on our medical staff, and he is eager to start working in Packwood this fall.

In closing, I want to invite community members to participate in our upcoming strategic plan. Our commissioners and management team will meet in December to assess our current offerings, identify the health care needs of the community and then create initiatives for our management team to meet those needs.
