We are looking to the future at Arbor Health. More pointedly, we're looking at your future health care needs and striving to meet them. Our recent addition of Orthopedic Surgeon Robert Williams, MD, and Foot and Ankle Surgeon Garrett Peresko, DPM, are two crowning examples. They, along with the addition of Family Medicine Specialists Victoria Acosta, DO, at the Mossyrock Clinic and Travis Podbilski, DO, at the Randle Clinic, added four new medical providers to meet your needs in 2021.

Beyond medical providers in our established clinics, though, East Lewis County has long needed increased access to medical care, namely weekend and after office hours—as well as returning medical services to the Packwood community. We have plans for both.

We are working to meet your needs.

Rapid Care

The need for extended-hours medical care is a real one. Illnesses and injuries are not limited to business hours. Plus, because medical providers' schedules often include Mondays or Fridays off along with the weekends, it is difficult to get appointments on those days.

In 2022, we plan to add rapid care services at the Morton Clinic. Intended for non-acute patients who should not be seen in the emergency room, walk-in clinic visits will be available Friday through Monday. The hours of service will likely be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Mondays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Packwood Clinic

While a location has not yet been finalized, we are aiming to open a new Packwood Clinic in 2022, with a full-time primary care provider. In addition, we intend for our specialists to rotate in for monthly appointments. Also in the plans are to provide basic physical therapy services as well as partner with a pharmacist to provide pharmacy services. Space will also be provided for community members to have virtual office visits with other providers in our hospital district.
