Dear community members,
As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the remarkable progress and achievements we have made together. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in our success. Here are some of the highlights from the past year.
Staffing and Leadership
- Welcomed six new physicians and two new physician associates (PA-C).
- Hired a new Emergency Department director.
Financial Milestones
- Arbor Health ended the year on a strong financial note, realizing a positive margin.
- Applied for and received a $480,000 grant from the state.
Infrastructure and Equipment
- Opened a new Rapid Care space.
- Purchased several new pieces of equipment to enhance patient safety and visitor comfort.
- Installed a new CT scanner.
- Expanded ultrasound services.
Programs and Services
- Signed a cardiology contract with Olympia Multi-Specialty Clinic for services beginning January 2025.
- Began participating in the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" stroke program.
- Held several Medicare educational programs at Morton Hospital.
- Conducted Wellness Week to include community walks, Arbor Talks at the Roxy, the Joy in the Journey 5K Color Run and the Health Expo.
Quality and Certification
- Implemented patient-centered family care model.
- Successful DNV survey and certification for the hospital's reaccreditation.
- Achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality.
- Implemented "Just Culture" training for all staff.
