Biography
Emma Dames, PA-C, joined the Arbor Health medical staff in 2024, working in the Arbor Health—Randle Clinic. Prior to beginning her medical practice in East Lewis County, she worked in the Tacoma area after completing her physician assistant education in Ohio and undergraduate degree in Kentucky.
Emma first entered the healthcare arena by earning a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science in 2014. This led her to pursue a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology two years later and then finally her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021.
In addition to family medicine, which entails all ages of patients’ primary care, her medical practice has also focused on LGBTQ+ health, gender-affirming medicine, adolescent medicine, internal medicine, emergency and urgent care, and working with medication-assisted treatment for substance-abuse patients.
