Biography
Joshua Munter, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, has been practicing physical therapy since 2019, specializing in orthopedic physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University (2015) and then his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University (2019). He then went on to complete a one-year Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency through Saint Louis University and SSM Health. In recognition of his advanced knowledge and training, he became a Board- Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist granted by the American Physical Therapy Association (2021) and most recently earned his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Aspire OMT (2025).
Joshua provides care for people who experience a wide range of conditions, and he is passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals. He is also an advocate for patient education, ensuring that people understand their condition and helping them to learn effective management strategies for returning to their favorite activities, managing their pain, and improving their safety in the community. His commitment to teaching also extends to future Physical Therapists through his adjunct teaching responsibilities with Augustana University's entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Outside of his work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, their child, and their animals. His personal interests include weightlifting, cooking, traveling and outdoor recreation.
