Senior citizens are reporting the receipt of robocalls, text messages and emails offering free face masks. There are also social media posts out there about free COVID-19 testing kits, "cures," and protective equipment.

Unfortunately, scammers are using the COVID-19 pandemic to try to steal Medicare numbers and personal information. We want our community members to know that if anyone reaches out to get yuor Medicare number or personal information in exchange for something, you can bet it's a scam.
