Grand Opening Celebration set for Saturday, Jan. 12th

Hospital news | Tuesday, January 1, 2019

A free community event is set for Saturday, Jan. 12th at Morton Hospital to celebrate the adoption of the "Arbor Health" parent name for the hospital, Mossyrock Clinic, Randle Clinic and Specialty Clinic. Kicking off at 1 p.m., the event will include attractions for the entire family.

"We began the process of tying our three clinics and hospital together well over a year ago," CEO Leianne Everett said. "We were charged with the challenge of engaging staff to operate with a single voice and a shared culture in a way that our services are viewed as a single entity rather than as a hospital and separate clinics. While the parent-name adoption isn't our only action toward that end, it is certainly the most significant and the most visible."

Come January 1, 2019, this healthcare system will be working under the umbrella of Arbor Health and is kicking it off in a big way with a free community event. The community is invited to join in the fun, which will include a children's theater performance, art show, sample logo items—and even hired a juggler.
