Morton Hospital offers to-go meals for area seniors

Thursday, December 17, 2020

Beginning January 4, 2021, the Arbor Health Morton Hospital dietary department will be offering hot meals to go via curbside pickup for area residents, ages 60 and over.

"We hated to close the cafeteria to the public during the pandemic for several reasons but especially because of the number of senior citizens who often used the cafeteria for their mid-day meal," Dietary Manager Kevin Conger said. "It was a place they could get a delicious meal at very reasonable prices. For this reason, we are going to be offering to-go meals for area residents, ages 60 and over, with curbside pickup in the new year."

Served Monday-Friday, 12:30-1:30 p.m., the day's lunch special, including milk or juice and a dessert, will cost $5 cash. Participating seniors need to order ahead by calling 360-496-5112, ext. 4230. Two parking spaces will be reserved for the pickup.
