Arbor Health is open and ready

With the pandemic still in effect, some community members are uncertain of the ability to seek medical care for non-emergent needs. Still others question if it is safe to do so. CEO Leianne Everett reports that all Arbor Health facilities are operating at their regular schedules and extra cleaning precautions are being taken to keep the patients and staff safe.
Safety precautions include:
- All patients, visitors and staff are required to wear face masks in all Arbor Health facilities
- Patient appointments are staggered to prevent multiple people waiting for appointments at the same time. This allows us to provide patients and visitors with 6 feet of personal space.
- Extra cleaning processes are in effect for all areas of public access.
- High-contact items such as credit card machines, wheelchairs, doorknobs and arm rests are cleaned between each patient
"We are doing everything we can to meet the needs of our patients, both in providing care and making our facilities safe to visit," Everett said. "We encourage our patients to keep up on their healthcare needs and do not delay care. We are ready for them."
